NSF is a certificate issued by the US National Sanitation Foundation according to the NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 standard for drinking water system components. The compliance testing and evaluation of drinking water contact materials are performed by US laboratories.
ACS is a certificate issued by the Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire according to DGS/V54 n° 2000/232 of 27/04/2000. What are referred to in the guide are a list of allowed substances that should be observed for the materials to be certified and the test method for the materials that are used in contact with drinking water and meet the requirements of the XP P41-251 standard.
WRAS is a certificate issued by WRC-NSF, UK, according to BS6920, the standard for the applicability of non-metallic materials for use in contact with water for human consumption and their impact on water quality. The compliance testing and evaluation of drinking water contact materials are performed by UK laboratories.
DVGW is a certificate issued by the Deutscher Verein des Gas- und Wasserfaches according to the initial material list in the KTW-BWGL, which governs non-metallic and organic materials, Appendix D (Elastomer) and the DIN EN 16421 microbial growth analysis standard. The compliance testing and evaluation of drinking water contact materials are performed by TZW DVGW-Technologiezentrum Wasser laboratories.
