Polyurethane Rubber

Polyurethane Rubber refers to an elastomer that is a rubber-like thermosetting elastomer with polyurethane as the basis in its molecular structure. It has outstanding wear resistance, high tensile strength, and high elasticity. There are two types of materials according to the molecular polarity: polyester polyurethane (AU) and polyether polyurethane (EU).
※Polyester polyurethane (AU): This features exceptional resistance to lubricants, fuel oils and solvents, but is easy to hydrolyze. ※Polyether polyurethane (EU): This is less likely to be eroded by hydrolysis and has low affinity with non-polar mineral oil. The material is almost unaffected by fuel oil and machine oil and thus can provide the basic oil resistance function.
